Building this site
A personal site built to grow into a business brand: essays and case studies in a headless CMS, fast pages, and a private page kept out of search.

The problem
An advisor's site has to show the work, not just describe it.
A template would have given me a page. I wanted a place to publish essays and case studies regularly, that loads quickly on a phone, and that I can extend as the work grows.
The approach
Content kept apart from code
Essays and case studies live in Sanity, with drafts and previews, and can also be written as files and pushed in one command.Built for reading
Next.js and Tailwind CSS on Vercel, with a type and colour system designed for long-form reading and a target of fast loading and full accessibility.Small things done properly
An RSS feed, share images generated for every page, search engine data, and a private page that never appears in search or the sitemap.
The outcome
The site is live, and every essay and case study on it is published through the same pipeline.
