The problem

Chargers placed in the wrong spot sit idle and lose money, while busy corridors stay underserved. Operators need a way to estimate demand before they invest.

The approach

  1. Gather the signals

Combine indicators that drive charging demand, such as vehicle density, traffic, and points of interest.
  2. Estimate demand by area

Score each location on expected charging demand and compare it with existing supply.
  3. Make it explorable

Ship the model as a web dashboard so a planner can filter, compare and test scenarios without code.

Who it serves

  • Charge point operators

A shortlist of high-demand sites before committing capital.
  • City planners

A view of gaps in the public charging network.
  • Lenders

A data point on expected utilisation when financing chargers.

The outcome

A live, public demo that turns a siting question into a few clicks.
